This nifty house is styled after Heartwood's popular Bluebird Manor only slightly smaller. Body of house is 6" wide and 5" deep with a 1-3/8" hole. Made from select cypress with hand-cut shingles and copper trim. This is the Smoke Grey version, it is also available in Redwood, Pinion Green, Whitewashed, Celery & Solid Mahogany colors. Provisions for ventilation, drainage, and rear cleanout. Galvanized metal hanging loop. Painted with non-toxic latex all weather stain.

  • Dimensions : 7" x 8" x 12"
  • Hole diameter: 1-3/8"

While bluebirds prefer a country or rural setting, there is a fair chance they will nest in city gardens or backyard areas. Bluebirds may produce two or more broods per season with incubation taking about 12 days. Both parents feed the young, and the chicks will leave the nest after 15 to 18 days.

This would be a wonderful addition to your own backyard, or a great housewarming or other gift for someone special.
